NCPCR seeks FIR against Bombay Begums over portrayal of children

National Commission for Protection of Child Rights has written a letter to Maharashtra Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Manu Kumar Srivastava seeking registration of FIR against 'Bombay Begums' makers over the alleged inappropriate portrayal of children. NCPCR wrote in the letter that the police informed them they needed "permission from higher authorities" since the issue falls in a "grey area".

Tamil Nadu government has written a letter to Union Minister Prakash Javadekar saying The Family Man Season 2's release on Amazon Prime Video must be banned in India. The letter said the show "depicts the Eelam Tamils in a highly objectionable manner", adding that it is "aimed at discrediting and distorting the historical struggle of Eelam Tamils in Sri Lanka." The makers, Raj & DK, and Manoj Bajpayee have reacted to the news stating that they love Tamil Nadu and its people and you will love what you will see.
