After two decades, Anna and Tess are ready to switch personalities again as Disney released the first official trailer for the much awaited sequel to 2003’s Freaky Friday - ‘Freakier Friday’.
The trailer shows Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis swapping bodies, but this time with an interesting twist! The brand new installment will feature Anna having a daughter (Julia Butters), a soon-to-be stepdaughter, (Sophia Hammons) and a four-way body swap resulting in a multigenerational chaos.

Going by the trailer, the film looks like a quintessential Disney venture packed with magic, music and loads of fun. Freakier Friday marks Lohan’s return to the big screen after a decade long gap. We're so looking forward to Curtis’ comic timing since the glimpses of her nuanced performance make her a show stealer. Overall, the trailer seems to be a nostalgic and hilarious ride, one that's got fans excited.
Chad Michael Murray, Mark Harmon, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowsky and Rosalind Chao reprise their roles from the 2003 movie. While Butters, Hammons, Manny Jacinto and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan are the new cast members with Nisha Ganatra helming the film.
