The four accused of the rape and murder of the 26-year-old Hyderabad veterinarian were killed in an encounter by the Hyderabad police in the wee hours of Friday.

One of the most recent cases that shook the country, the rape of a 26-year-old veterinarian from Hyderabad has now been closed as the four accused have been killed in an encounter by the Hyderabad police. The alleged perpetrators were taken to the spot of the crime at around 3.30 am where the vet was brutally raped and murdered for the recreation of the crime scene and in order to collect the evidence for the case. The reports state that the accused were trying to flee and after repeated warnings, the police had no other option but to shoot all four resulting in their death on the spot. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had earlier on Sunday asked to set up a fast track court for the case.
