Illustrator Srishti Guptaroy customizes bags for Michael Kors

Bangalore based illustrator, Srishti Guptaroy will customise Michael Kors bags for their MK My Way activation.

Michael Kors, one of the world's most renowned luxury brands for accessories clothing and more has launched its pop-up store activation across India. The new pop-up will celebrate MK My Way, a ’popular sense of collaboration that allows its customers to customize their signature logo, on their choice of handbags. Indian illustrator Srishti Guptaroy has collaborated with the brand to help them with this new initiative.

Indian illustrator Srishti Guptaroy is a freelance illustrator and fashion designer who has created and become an artistic part of various popular brands. Her illustrations are maximal, colourful, witty and something that looks like a celebration. It is hard to get our eyes off of her illustrations no matter what form they are in. Srishti is also someone who was elected as a 'Young emerging designer' by Kyoorious in 2018. She has worked extensively in the retail and e-commerce space in India for brands like Ajio, Myntra and Peter England with a strong focus on womenswear trends and prints. Her works have been featured in Vogue India, Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Buzzfeed and Homegrown.

The MK My Way activation will take place in stores with a colourful pop-up kiosk. Equal parts are high and powerful, the pop-up’s countertop and façade are sprinkled with metallic hues and marked with an oversized, graphic take on the product’s signature print. Since the customers have the chance to select their signature print bag, they can get the logo of their initials customized by Srishti. The Bangalore-based artist will hand paint the logo with their English / Hindi initials or with one of the four unique symbols created for Diwali. Michael Kors had recently announced that Jhanvi Kapoor will be their digital campaign celebrity.
