Using forged documents from PM Modi and other dignitaries to investigate Sridevi's death led to the CBI filing a charge sheet against YouTuber Deepti R Pinniti.

Deepti R Pinniti, a YouTuber and self-proclaimed investigator took to her YouTube channel to talk about Sridevi’s death. Her claims have caught the attention of the authorities with the CBI filing a chargesheet against her. Sridevi's demise had sent shock waves across fans in 2018. Although it was reported that she passed away due to a heart attack, her autopsy clarified the cause of her death to be ‘accidental drowning.’

Since the news broke, many people on the internet began speculating and sharing their theories of every possibility that caused her death. In one such incident, a Mumbai-based lawyer, Chandni Shah filed a complaint against Deepti Pinniti, after Deepti claimed foul play in the actor’s death. The case was referred to the lawyer by the Prime Minister's office for using ‘forged’ documents as proof. Deepti used the alleged “forged” documents from Indian dignitaries stating a coverup between India and the UAE government over Sridevi’s death. This led to the CBI registering a case against her and her lawyer, Bharath Suresh Kamath last year following the complaint. Following this, the CBI seized all her phones and laptops after carrying out a search at her house in December 2023. The investigation revealed that the documents presented were actually forged.

Deepti is known to share her opinion on the cause of various Bollywood actor’s deaths. While discussing the Sridevi's death, she seemed to have provided various documents that included letters from the Prime Minister and the Defence Minister. The evidence also included documents related to the Supreme Court and records from the UAE government. The CBI has filed a chargesheet against the YouTuber under the Indian Penal Code. The charges include criminal conspiracy (120-B), forgery (465, 469), and using forged documents as genuine (471). Reacting to the same, the YouTuber claimed, in the video above, that the authority filed the chargesheet without recording her statement and since the files implicate the government they fall under, the CBI is also a party to the conflict.

The case is still under process. More details are awaited!
