27-year-old former RJ and content creator Simran Singh passed away

RJ and content creator, Simran Singh also known among fans as ‘Jammu ki Dhakan’ passed away by suicide.

While she was gaining popularity and love online for her content, Simran was also working as a freelance radio jockey. Apart from her funny content, she also used to share her travel vlogs and collaboration videos where she had fun with her fellow creators and friends. People admired her girl-next-door charm, engaging in the stories she had to share with her followers.

Simran passed away by suicide on Wednesday. Since the news of her passing, there have been reports about her family talking about her troubles. ASI Pradeep Kumar, the investigating officer at the Sadar Police Station stated, “Based on a written complaint from the family members, action was taken and the post-mortem was done on Thursday morning. The body has been handed over to the family members. No case was registered". Following the news of her passing, Dr Farooq Abdullah, President of the Jammu Kashmir National Conference shared his condolences on X. He mentioned how her voice embodied the spirit of Jammu and Kashmir.

There was no suicide note discovered, her parents did not file a complaint and no case has been registered by the Gurgaon police.
