My sports prosthetic leg does not satisfy the size restriction of hand luggage and I always have to check in as luggage during my tournament travel. 30% of time I've got it lost in transit and has been delivered late. This picture is from Australia Para-Badminton International which took place in Geelong in November 2018 where my sports prosthesis was lost in transit in Singapore. Airlines were unable to track it, ground support staff in Melbourne were not replying to my messages and I got my prosthesis almost after 4 days, 3 days into competition. This is me wearing @pramod.bhagat8 's shoes in my walking prosthesis (I just carry my right shoe & my left shoe is always attached to my sports prosthesis). I had tweeted and shared my prosthesis baggage loss story across my social media where a friend of friend of friend, ex employee of Changi airport lost and found, happened to see it. She contacted her colleagues and found it with whatever minimal information she had. That day I realised the true power of social media and networking. I thank all the people who have been helping me almost always going out of the way making sure my paths are clear and my journey smooth.
