“Desi Hip Hop” as we lovingly call it in India, Bollywood has open-heartedly and with both arms welcomed rap culture. A critically acclaimed movie like Manto to a mainstream commercial movie like Veere Di Wedding’s music album also includes a rap song now. While Bollywood maybe on the move, our underground artists are not anywhere behind.

Divine and Naezy together changed the game of Hip-Hop by bringing the whole of India’s attention to the new street culture of India. Sony Music also further signed Divine. These two rappers are also the inspiration behind the movie Gully Boy but here is a list of other artists that you need to follow right away.
