The previous week the entertainment industry was filled with mourning the loss of the sudden demise of James Tyler AKA Friends' Gunther to the demise of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins who was accidentally shot by Alec Baldwin on the set. While in between people mourned the loss there was news of some new beginnings as well like Schitt's Creek actress Sarah Levy marries Graham Outerbridge to Actress Freida Pinto shares pics from her secret wedding last year. There are new beginnings for some projects and actors as well from DDLJ being adapted into a Broadway musical to Harry Styles joining the MCU as Thanos' brother Eros to Adarsh Gourav all ready to star alongside Meryl Streep, David Schwimmer, and Kit Harington in a series called Extrapolations.

Actor James Tyler, who played Gunther in 'Friends', passed away aged 59 due to prostate cancer. James Tyler was first diagnosed with cancer in 2018 but kept his diagnosis private for three years. James Tyler had also acted in 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch', 'Scrubs', 'Modern Music' and 'Just Shoot Me!' among others. James Tyler is survived by his wife, Jennifer Carno.

Aditya Roy Kapur surprises fans with an impromptu performance in Gurugram

Actor Aditya Roy Kapur recently surprised his fans as he broke into an impromptu performance at Gurugram's DLF CyberHub. A video has gone viral on social media in which he can be seen playing the guitar and singing along as the audience cheers him on. Actor Alec Baldwin was spotted weeping after accidentally shooting and killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins with a prop gun on the sets of the film 'Rust' in Santa Fe in US' New Mexico. He was seen breaking down outside the sheriff's office after speaking to investigators. Director Joel Souza was injured in the incident.

DDLJ to be adapted into Broadway musical, Aditya Chopra to direct

Filmmaker Aditya Chopra is set to make his Broadway debut as a director with the musical version of his 1995 film 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'. Titled 'Come Fall In Love - The DDLJ Musical', the Broadway show will be produced by Chopra's Yash Raj Films. "I feel 23 again, the same age I was when I directed DDLJ," Aditya said.

Actor Rajinikanth on Sunday tweeted that October 25 is an important occasion for him on two accounts, being conferred the Dadasaheb Phalke award and the release of his daughter's app. The Dadasaheb Phalke award is the highest award in Indian cinema. The 70-year-old actor has earlier been conferred the Padma Vibushan, Padma Bhushan, and seven Tamil Nadu State Film Awards.

PS Vinothraj's directorial 'Koozhangal' has been selected as India's official entry to the 94th Academy Awards, which will be held on March 27, 2022 in Los Angeles. Akshay Kumar has started shooting for 'OMG 2', the sequel to the 2012 film 'OMG: Oh My God!'.
