The Excel Entertainment production, Inside Edge, is a series that's based on cricket and match-fixing aka sattebaazi. It focuses on the format of IPL and match-fixings that go on from the inside. The show has garnered a huge response since the time it was released and now it's on its third season. And this season follows up the drama and rivalry between two powerful people, Bhaisahaab and Vikrant Dhawan and their hunger for power.Β The last we saw was Mumbai Mavericks, and its owners were dealing with the ban on playing in PPL after being accused of illegal betting and match-fixing.
Inside Edge 3 picks up from Mumbai Mavericks being banned. It focuses on owners and team players being investigated which in turn brings the focus on the individualistic timelines of each character. Meanwhile, the powerplay of ambition and power continues to play a role in this season and in their depiction of cricket.
