The Last Hour is a supernatural series that sets itself in the North-eastern part of the country. It’s given a platform to artists from the North East and is one of the few Indian series in the supernatural genre. This suspense drama includes Karma Takapa, Sanjay Kapoor, Raima Sen, Shaylee Krishen, Shahana Goswami, Lanuakum Ao, and Robin Tamang in pivotal roles.

The show is set in a fictitious city somewhere in the North East, though is shot in Sikkim. The plot of the eight-episode series is a recently widowed police officer Arup (Sanjay Kapoor), who arrives here from Mumbai with his teenage daughter Pari (Shaylee Krishen). Arup finds himself investigating a death soon after he has put his bags down, even though he was assured by his superior that the posting will be uneventful since there is barely any crime to speak of. The case leads Arup to Dev (Karma Takapa), a shaman who can connect with the newly departed. Dev can reach out to a soul soon after it leaves the body and journeys to the afterworld. They both join hands to solve the mysterious crimes taking place here. Also, keen on enlisting Dev, but for nefarious reasons, is Yama Nadu (Robin Tamang). Nadu can foretell the future but is really in search of a hidden power that Dev doesn’t yet know he possesses. Accompanied by his sidekick Thapa, Yama Nadu arrives in Dev’s backyard, leading to a chain of events that links back to Arup’s late wife Nyima (Raima Sen) and his disturbed daughter Pari.
