Bandish Bandits season 2 released last friday and has brought out poles apart opinions amongst the Janta. Have a look!
Directed by Anand Tiwari and created by Amritapal Singh Bindra, Bandish Bandits season 2 revolved around two musical stars Radhe and Tamanna. Radhe comes from a conservative Rajasthani gharana, where his entire family is filled with Hindustani classical prodigies. Tamannah is more free spirited and relevant to the newer generation when it comes to her music. Season 1 was all about Radhe and Tamanna’s romance but season 2 pits the two against each other in a music competition. Will their love survive them competing with one another? Will it survive the test of new people in their lives is what this season is all about. The cast includes Ritwik Bhowmik and Shreya Chaudhary as the leads along with popular names like Sheeba Chaddha, Atul Kulkarni, Divya Dutta, Yashaswini Dayama, Kunal Roy Kapur and amongst many others.
Given that season 1 left such a huge impact on the Janta, it goes without saying that everyone had immense expectations from season 2. Some of the viewers felt their expectations were met and some strongly disagreed, especially when it came to the music. Season 1 had the level of soundtrack that we had only seen in movies before but many felt season 2 lacked that charm. Some viewers loved this season for its visuals and storytelling and some believed season 1 to be better. Overall, all of X has had polar opposite reactions to this season!

#BandishBanditsS2 is a perfect second season one can expect. The rendition of music has been the soul of this series throughout. The high point of this season will be the roots of the music and the blend of our Indian culture with it. Great performances. Must-watch.@PrimeVideoIN pic.twitter.com/j4JAOAeiDl

There was a lot of expectation after the superb 1st season of #bandishbandits However #BandishBandits2 could not live up to it. The music was a big let down and despite some good moments and great performances could not make an impact like its predecessor. A 6/10 at best

I was missing Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's music in #BandishBanditsSeason2 but they did manage to bring them back for all the essential ones, wherever their presence was required.

Season 2,falls flat, lost the magic and depth that made the first season so special. Not even a good song to remember! Disappointing! @PrimeVideoIN#BandishBanditsSeason2
Bandish bandits season 2 isn't as good as Season 1👎👎. Really missed SEL music in this season.

Yaar Bandish Bandits S2 is so binge worthy, I mean, five episodes in and I am having a blast. I know people may see it is superficial at times, conflicts gets solved easily etc but the control the showrunners have over the medium and the storytelling is just great.. (1/2)

Just binged Bandish Bandits S2 in one go and honestly? It’s SO FREAKING GOOD. Had the best time. I know it feels like they wrapped it up, but PLEASE, if there’s any chance of S3, take all the time you need and make it amazing. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT 😭🫶🏻

Not that charm like the first season.
A lot of misses from the actors w.r.t music.
I don't understand why they don't hire actors(not all) with a little knowledge of music or do workshops. It would have a great impact on overall show.
Had the urge to slap Tamanna throughout the duration of Bandish Bandits Season 2. So annoying and weepy for no reason. But also, what did they do to her singing voice? Does not suit the actor at all and looks very clearly lip synced.

Completed #bandishbanditsS2 and it is nothing but excellent (except for those silly media bits).

Having given up on Hindi content xo, Bandish Bandits kept me hooked till the very last with an amazing plot, incredible music, a great ensemble of actors who act their parts so well..
Bandish Bandits S2 actually so good, although we miss Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy terribly 😭 music could have been so much better

#BandishBandits music album played in my car for months. #BandishBandits2 music is so mediocre that it makes you google if music directors are even same. And no, they’re not. Blunder move by producers for a musical series. S2 completely ruins the legacy of S1. Very disappointed.
