Produced by Maddock Films, Bhool Chuk Maaf released on the big screens on May 23 and here’s what the Janta thought of the film!
Set in Banaras, Bhool Chuk Maaf revolves around Ranjan (Rajkummar Rao) and Titli’s (Wamiqa Gabbi) love story. In a desperate attempt to find a government job, Ranjan finds himself stuck in an endless time loop. How will he ever come out of it, will he learn something in the process and will Ranjan and Titli get married is the crux of the story. The film is directed by Karan Sharma and produced by Maddock Films. Some of the pivotal cast also includes Sanjay Mishra, Raghubir Yadav, Seema Pahwa and Zakir Hussain.
The Janta seems to be in two minds about the film. While some found the film to be a quintessential family entertainer, others felt it relied too heavily on clichéd tropes. The storyline, centered around a lighthearted time loop comedy, brought out both laughter and criticism. Some appreciated its humor and charm, while others found it unfunny and overly drawn-out. The difference in opinions clearly makes the film a polarizing subject amongst the audiences.

Here's what the Janta had to say!
#BhoolChukMaaf has a fun conflict that is resolved by yapping. Kitna lazy writing bhai?

It's a formula to make a small-town Rajkummar Rao comedy movie even if it doesn't have a third act.
Just like 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video'.
First it was Ayushman, now its Rajkummar. pic.twitter.com/QzCOFReKNe
#BhoolChukMaaf Review (Spoiler Alert): Rajkummar Rao & Wamiqa Gabbi’s rom-com starts with good comedy & the acting is great! Second half gets dull with preachy messages. Like 90s films (no hate to those, they were goats), too predictable today. Story slows, one-time watch. 2.5/5 pic.twitter.com/a0Nn3a3TNn

Rarely do we see comedy meet compassion. Bhool Chuk Maaf nails it by showing that even mistakes deserve understanding.#BhoolChukMaaf

.
I wish they showed more visuals of Varanasi because that was better than the movie. Rajkumar shld stop meeting SRK for notes, he has been on a downfall after that as an actor. Wamiqa was okay. Then they end with preaching 🙄 pic.twitter.com/d3KsBzzQVw
Half star.
