Bhumi Pednekar’s performance in Daldal has the janta singing her praises, especially for her restraint, where she brings so much to the table by giving almost nothing away through her expressions!
Amazon Prime Video’s newly released series Daldal, created by Suresh Triveni and directed by Amrit Raj Gupta, is a slow-burn, gritty psychological crime drama that, in the words of the janta, will mess with your head but in a good way. While the janta have appreciated the show’s dark approach to storytelling that leaves you with a lot to think about, it’s Bhumi Pednekar’s performance as Rita Ferreira that people can’t seem to get over. As many are talking about her face that gives nothing away, and how she captures restraint through her entire body language. At the same time, Aditya Rawal and Samara Tijori’s performances have also been widely noticed, standing strong beyond Bhumi even as she ultimately steals the limelight and carries the show forward.

Here's what they are saying!
Daldal stands out as one of the darkest series of the year, filled with violence and deeply unsettling.

Bhumi Pednekar plays a cop haunted by her past, hunting a serial killer through the dark lanes of Mumbai. Her quiet but powerful performance becomes the emotional heart of… pic.twitter.com/YlDPlZmtsU
Daldal is a slow burn crime drama that pulls you into a grim, suffocating system. The shift by dir. Amrit Raj Gupta from Gullak to Daldal is phenomenal.

Bhumi delivers an authentic performance, but for me, Aditya Rawal and Samara Tijori stole the show. The show is raw & brutal. pic.twitter.com/qSXD45Ig83

Bhumi pednekar @bhumipednekar is outstanding in #Daldal .The series is intense, well written, and among her best performances. Do watch Daldal on #AmazonPrime.

Such talents who selflessly stand firm for people even off screen truly deserve all our appreciation. pic.twitter.com/gYtlh5F0EU
I am still thinking of #Daldal on @PrimeVideoIN & @bhumipednekar as Rita Fereira! Such a reserved portrayal with stiff body language, hiding immense trauma.

Bhumi, please act in more projects like Daldal & Bhakshak 🙏
Watching #DaldalOnPrime. It is a dark, slow-burn suspense series. I don't know why it has such mediocre reviews on IMDB, because this series is good. @bhumipednekar is outstanding and @SamaraTijori is a revelation! If not for anything else, go watch #Daldal for these two.
