A new Captain America has come to the rescue and the Janta sure had a lot to say about the film!
Anthony Mackie reprises his role as Sam Wilson, now officially Captain America.After a meeting with President Thaddeus Ross, Sam finds himself embroiled in an international crisis.He must uncover a sinister global conspiracy before its mastermind plunges it into chaos. Directed by Julius Onah, the film sees Ross task Wilson with reforming the Avengers and becoming the face of the Adamantium treaty. During a summit with international leaders, a disruptive attack by Bradley and four others targets the president, throwing Sam's plans and the world's stability into jeopardy. The story is all about whether the new Captain America will be able to save the world!
Given the legacy Chris Evans has left behind, it was given that the audience would take some time to warm up to someone else holding the shield this time around. According to the Janta's reactions, they've found the film underwhelming, criticising its over-explanations, lack of visual storytelling, and feeling that it was designed for streaming rather than a theatrical release. Having said that, many have also praised Anthony Mackie's performance as Captain America, highlighting him as the perfect choice for the role. Several viewers enjoyed the action sequences, particularly the final battle, and appreciated the film's message about real heroes. But a Marvel film is known to rely on CGI heavily, and this one definitely wasn't up to the mark, which is a shocker in a franchise as big as the MCU.
