De De Pyaar De 2 tickles janta's funny bones, registers a decent weekend business of Rs. 38.43 crores

Directed by Anshul Sharma, De De Pyaar De 2 comes across as an organic and genuinely funny age-gap romance, which is refreshing in its approach!

There's nothing like a light-hearted rom-com packed with family chaos, laughs, and a dash of heart, and Luv Ranjan’s latest outing De De Pyaar De 2, offers it all! A direct sequel to its predecessor, this age-gap romance follows Ashish (Ajay Devgn) visiting Ayesha's (Rakul Preet Singh) home to seek her strict-yet-progressive dad Rajji’s (R Madhavan) approval.

The film opened to impressive reviews by the critics and has been winning the hearts of the janta alike! A big section of the audience is raving about R Madhavan and Rakul Preet Singh’s impeccable comic timing and their infectious energy. Others are in awe of Jaaved Jaaferi and son Meezaan Jafri's dance moves and charming screen presence. The rom-com fans are also loving the meta-jokes in the film.

The positive review from the audience is also reflecting on the film's weekend collection. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the rom-com has so far collected Rs. 38.43 crores, minting Rs. 9.45 crores on Friday, Rs. 13.77 crores on Saturday, and Rs. 15.21 crores on Sunday.
