The much-awaited new season of Delhi Crime is finally out on Netflix. And while some of the janta have embraced its shift toward a more dramatic thriller style, others have found the season disappointingly uneven.
When a show grows bigger than what it originally set out to be, audience expectations inevitably rise with it and that’s precisely what’s happening with the new season of Delhi Crime. Now with its third installment, starring Shefali Shah, Rasika Duggal, Rajesh Tailang and others the series has become a lens through which Delhi itself transforms into both a threat and a chilling reminder of the fear women navigate in a deeply patriarchal society. It also continues to examine the tragic cycle in which a survivor of oppression can, over time, become an oppressor within the same system. But while the intention remains powerful, the execution falters. This season leans into a far more dramatic, conventional approach to storytelling, something the janta has definitely picked up on. For many, this is the weakest season of Delhi Crime yet, with comments about the performances feeling overly theatrical and the narrative trying too hard. Others, however, can’t help but enjoy the shift, praising Huma Qureshi’s turn as a menacing villain and appreciating the more thriller-driven structure. And even though the janta is divided, one tweet sums it up perfectly that watching Delhi Crime Season 3 may feel underwhelming but on most days, an underwhelming Delhi Crime is still better than most shows.

Was hoping this would be as scintillating as season 1, or even season 2 where they hunt the gang hardly with any clues or leads. But, season 3 was overly fictionalised, can expect certain scenes ahead and the… pic.twitter.com/OOXfUjFnxE
Finally began watching Season 3 of Delhi Crime. @anusinghc what brilliant dialogue writing ! Pithy, chilling, sensitive & simple. Lately, I've been lost in a full @humasqureshi marathon. Her films and web series pulled me in so deeply that I forgot everything else. From Maharani Season 3 to Delhi Crime Season 2 to Jolly LLB 3, she holds the screen with a power that feels rare today.

I seriously didn't like it at all. I mean, there were huge expectations from this stellar cast. When you put Shefali Shah, Rasika Duggal, Huma Qureshi, and Sayani Gupta together, you have to give apt screen time to all of them to create that impact!

DELHI CRIME season 3 has been watched . Nothing they do can reach the magic of season 1 but the cast and performances very reliable and dependable . Even an underwhelming Delhi Crime season is better than most shows out there .

Just finished with #DelhiCrime season 3. One of the finest Indian OTT shows; meandering along its new path avoiding familiar tropes. Show starring @humasqureshi -#Shefalishah also deals with a very tricky issue of trafficking. Worth a watch
