Dhoom Dhaam

Netflix's Dhoom Dhaam, starring Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi, released on Valentine's Day, and here's what the Janta thought of this new-age rom-com!

Dhoom Dhaam, directed by Rishab Seth and produced by Aditya Dhar, Lokesh Dhar of B62 Studios, and Jio Studios, stars Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi as newlyweds Koyal and Veer. Their wedding night takes a chaotic turn when a case of mistaken identity forces them to go on the run, pursued by goons and cops, in a frenzied search for the mysterious 'Charlie.' Their romantic plans are completely derailed as they try to uncover who Charlie is and why everyone is after him.

'Dhoom Dhaam' appears to be a polarizing film, eliciting vastly different reactions from viewers. Some praise it as a refreshing comedy, highlighting the lead performances, particularly Pratik Gandhi's comic timing and Yami Gautam's consistent string of strong roles. The witty one-liners, situational comedy, and engaging entertainment from start to finish make this the perfect Valentine's Day treat, according to the Janta. However, there were polar opposite views where people found the film to be utterly boring, criticizing the jokes for falling flat and the overall tone as hyper and unenjoyable. At the end of the day, the film is termed as a lighthearted, no-brainer comedy that one might enjoy if they just want an escape from reality!
