The janta is particularly going gaga over Akshaye Khanna's portrayal of Rehman Dakait, a Pakistani mafia and Shashwat Sachdev's music in Dhurandhar.

After multiple controversies, Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar finally hit theatres on Friday. The spy-thriller opened to mixed reviews by the critics however, the audience seemed to be in complete awe of the action, performances and the raw and gritty approach of the film. Starring Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar follows Humza Ali Mazhari (Singh), an Indian undercover agent, infiltrating Pakistani territory and its terror networks to extract crucial intel to neutralise attacks on our home soil.

The Janta, despite taking playful digs over the film's 3.5-hour run-time, is unanimously impressed by Singh’s restrained and Akshaye Khanna’s layered performance as Rehman Dakait, the Pakistani mafia. Besides, the viewers can’t stop going gaga over Shashwat Sachdev’s spin on Bollywood classics that elevate every scene and action set-pieces.
