Starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, F1: The Movie released on the big screen on June 27 and the F1 fans sure had a lot to say!
Director Joseph Kosinski, who is known for popular films like ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, brought his next blockbuster to the biggest IMAX screen with F1: The Movie. The story revolves around Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt), a retired F1 driver, who is brought back to the sport to redeem himself. Alongside his teammate Joshua Pierce (Damson Idris), the two try their best to bring their team into points while also having a rivalry of their own. The movie also stars Javier Bardem as the team principal Ruben, Kerry Condon as the team engineer and cameos from a lot of other popular Formula One drivers.
While avid F1 fans couldn’t overlook certain elements in the film, one thing everyone could agree on was the fact that it was an extremely entertaining film. If the cinematic liberties were kept aside, many felt that the plot was one that would keep you on the edge of your seat. With stunning visuals, soundtrack and getting even the small technical details of Formula One right, the film sure is one to be experienced on the big screen according to fans!

#F1TheMovie's absolutely incredible. Loved everything: the acting, the visuals, the special effects, soundtrack, characters, the adrenaline and tension, the comedy...All the work that went into it is awesome. Had very high expectations, but it was what I expected and even more. pic.twitter.com/znP5k42xrF

IT WASN’T BAD AT ALL. actually, it was really entertaining! peak humor… i loved it. when it comes to the racing scenes, the cinematography was incredible—it looked so real. even the studio audience gave it several rounds of applause 😭 pic.twitter.com/T4eK27BgEk
Just watched the F1 movie and damn, what a ride. I don’t even follow the sport like that, but the action and cinematography had me hooked. That Abu Dhabi climax scenes literally had me on the edge of my seat. Solid 9/10 with the cameos of Hamilton and co stealing the show. pic.twitter.com/H9UJQKAti9

An exhilarating big screen spectacle with an all-timer third act and Brad Pitt in tereffic form.
Another triumph by Joseph Kransiki after Top Gun Maverick.

y'all made the f1 movie sound like an absolute shitshow but if you watch it as a fictional movie for entertainment it was actually quite good?? like it was never going to be a documentary idk 😭😭

Genuinely if you’re into F1, leave the driving brain at home and enjoy the movie for how cinematic and immersive they made it. That final race in Abu Dhabi had me sat like this pic.twitter.com/YYetfz5DNy

now if you asked my honest review of f1 movie.. don’t get too technical, just enjoy the movie. i think it will be more fun if you watch it on imax cause of its slick cam work of race sequences that paired with hans zimmer’s score.

Rating: 2.5/5
this one’s definitely dramatized, but hey, it’s a movie made to entertain, not a docuseries. as someone who watches the sport religiously, i found myself nitpicking every bit of the movie 😂 but i did try to keep an open mind. pic.twitter.com/XA5hBFD0Zz
Watched #F1TheMovie is not just a racing movie it’s a pulse-pounding redemption story, and Brad pitt drives it like a champion. Stylish, sharp, and searing with emotion, this is cinema that roars.
