The second season of the highly acclaimed series Kohrra not only upholds the show’s legacy but also offers something fresh to the Janta and it has clearly impressed them!
Kohrra is one of those rare shows that breaks the familiar cycle of streaming series losing their touch in the second season, especially when the first season has already peaked. With its gripping debut, Kohrra created a wave that was impossible to ignore. Yet season two doesn’t merely try to replicate that success; it deepens it. Once again, it becomes a layered exploration of Punjab, mirroring the larger social fractures ailing India. The show asserts that the fog aka the kohrra isn’t something that lifts just once. As the clouds over our eyes return again and again, the act of lifting that fog must also be repeated. And the Janta seem to agree! As people can’t stop praising the new season, applauding the powerful performances of Barun Sobti and Mona Singh as the two cops in the midst of chaos. But above all, everyone is in awe of the lived-in authenticity of the world crafted by its creator, Sudip Sharma. He seems to possess the rare ability to fully inhabit a space, only to exhale it back as a reflection that feels both deeply personal and strikingly universal.

Here's what the Janta is saying!
Still can’t get over Kohrra and the majestic, brilliant performance of Barun Sobti as Garundi. Kudos to his script selection! Eagerly waiting for his next 🤍🤍#KohrraSeason2pic.twitter.com/sL0UrtQwBJ

#MonaSingh is terrific as the bruised yet brave Dhanwant Kaur in #Kohrra2 Taking nothing away from her, she felt very upright & virtuous like you knew her.@Suvinder_Vicky in #Kohrra was more raw & nuanced who brought an unpredictable greyness & vulnerability to Balbir Sekhon. pic.twitter.com/gGa5BKaamX

I have never watched a more intense show than Kohrra Season 2. The intensity built through slow pace is actually a masterpiece. Must watch. 🙏@BarunSobtiSays@JaideepAhlawat

Often wonder why depressing Paatal Lok, Kohrra type OTT series are such super hits in India. It's because people know that reality in India is even worse. Seeing depressing and gory crime on OTT is some kinda release in some twisted way.

KOHRRA season 2 is next level man. One of the best shows from Indian OTT till now. The writing, the acting, everything is so prefect. The detailing of real Punjab, small small details, uffff!!!! #KohrraSeason2pic.twitter.com/mQEidcp2XX

Kohrra 2 works more as a terrific tango between two good actors than a solid police procedural. As a fan of the first season, I missed its philosophizing and depth. On a different note, found this season closer to Mare of Eassttown, thematically. Some stark similarities. pic.twitter.com/d8ColvMfZm

Damn! That is how you make a show. 6 episodes, all plots covered.
Watched kohrra 2 last night and I’m still thinking about it.

Brilliant direction! Nothing dramatic for the sake of drama. Very raw and honest storytelling! We need more of these real performances tbh…
Brilliant Series -Kohrra Season 2 !! It’s fascinating and looks so real . No faltu drama , just real acting and looks like these events happening in real life . pic.twitter.com/Sy5z4althY

Of all the things, what touched me the most is how #Kohrra2 lays bare the lack of kindness & empathy in today’s mad bad world. Shows a mirror to us. pic.twitter.com/hTAxA2wfLP

#KohrraSeason2 turns out to be one of the best installments of Indian TV shows. The performance nuances, the humor, and the pace—everything is exceptional.

The writing is one of the strongest elements of the show.
Mona Singh and Barun Sobti were a treat in every frame.

The writing, direction, acting, character development, their stories, you name it and this series aces almost all of it.
There is not a single actor who's not on top of their game.
Sudip Sharma should be cherished.
Watch it on Netflix, preferably…
Kohraa S2 is not just a crime story, it’s about pain, silence and the baggage people carry behind normal lives.

Very real, and quietly heartbreaking.
Stayed with me… might make you cry.
Garundi and Aujla bantering was one of my favourite things about Kohrra 2 😂
