Keeping in line with Bollywood’s new found love for the horror genre, last week saw the release of Kussh Sinha’s Nikita Roy. Starring Sonakshi Sinha, Arjun Rampal, and Paresh Rawal, the film explores a rationalist’s quest for truth as she investigates the death of her brother who was trying to expose a mighty self-styled godman.
Nikita Roy opened to mixed reviews by the critics, however the audience seems to be in awe of the film. While some are lauding it for its refreshing narration, suspence value and the errie setting, others are in awe of Sonakshi Sinha and Paresh Rawal's measured performances as the titular character and fraudulent spiritual leader respectively.
