Pushpa 2

Allu Arjun’s highly-anticipated film of the year, Pushpa 2: The Rule, recently released, and the Janta is busy dissecting what they liked and what left them disappointed about it. Check it out!

When Pushpa: The Rise hit screens in 2021, it erupted into a cultural phenomenon, catapulting Allu Arjun into pan-Indian stardom. The film’s mass appeal was largely due to its gritty and rooted portrayal of smuggling, and the origin story of the rugged and rebellious Pushpa Raj who was exceptionally essayed by Allu Arjun. It struck a chord with everyone so much so that from his iconic “Jhukega nahi” or "flower nahi fire hai" swagger to the electrifying soundtrack, Pushpa became a pop culture juggernaut, sparking memes, imitations on Reels with celebrities also chiming in on the fun. This no doubt created sky high expectations and given the cliffhanger that introduced Fahadh Faasil in the mix, it left everyone eagerly anticipating what would come next.
