With a rather talented ensemble, Saare Jahan Se Accha released on Netflix on August 13 and here’s what the Janta had to say about the series!
A spy thriller, Saare Jahan Se Accha isbased on real life R&AW agent Vishnu Shankar, who was sent to Pakistan to gather confidential information about a potential nuclear bomb in the making. To stop them from doing that, he has his chain of spies all across the country who help him out in more ways than one! The titular character is played by Pratik Gandhi and the rest of the cast includes popular names like Kritika Kamra, Tillotama Shome, Sunny Hinduja, Suhail Nayyar and Anup Soni who play pivotal roles in the series. The crux of the show is India’s R&AW vs Pakistan’s ISI and who gets to finish their mission before it’s too late! With this, Netflix adds yet another spy thriller to its collection after shows like ‘The Spy’.
The Janta seems to have loved the crisp screenplay of the show that weaves the story together rather well. While the audience favourite Pratik Gandhi did justice to his character, the viewers also feel that Sunny Hinduja as the ISI chief Murtaza and Suhail Nayyar as Sukhbir stood out in the show and deserved more screen time. Some also felt that the second half of the show and the climax felt a bit rushed and did not really linger on their minds post the credits rolled!

Watched #SaareJahanSeAccha on @NetflixIndia. What a series... Great work by Makers. Loved a lot.. @pratikg80 was immense as always as station chief. Next Superstar of B'wood. Loving work of @hinduja_sunny as cruel #ISI Head. #RajatKapoor made good justice with the roll of #RNKao. pic.twitter.com/RN18ZsrFXj

#sarejahanseacha#Netflix@hinduja_sunny I watched the series solely because of you… and you truly owned the screen. You brought such depth and nuance to the character!@pratikg80 Once again, you proved your craft and raised the bar to the next level. Exceptional as always!

#SunnyHinduja was pick of the actor for me in this otherwise not-so-solid spy thriller. @pratikg80 just magnificant.

First episode promised something but overall its predictible and bit boring. Subplots feel abrupt, tonal shifts jarring, and finale rushed. #SaareJahanSeAcchapic.twitter.com/TgUTa7OjLp
The usual Indian shows and movies depict spies as assassins than just spies. The new show ‘Saare Jahaan se Achha’, is an exception. It’s pacy and has the core elements to showcase how the spy world works. @hinduja_sunny shines through and through!

#SaareJahanSeAcchaOnNetflix is an interesting show with good performances. It's bingeworthy & the primary cast look and act the part. But the tension is missing. It doesn't live with you after you have moved on to the next show. I give it 3/5 @NetflixIndiapic.twitter.com/Em853z05P4

7.5/10 ⭐✨#SaareJahanSeAcchaOnNetflixpic.twitter.com/Q7x6tLAxkZ
#SaareJahanSeAccha : Crisp with grounded & realistic patriotism portrayed through the countless unsung spies & agents. Grips until 4th episode however climax feels bit filmy & rushed. Stellar cast delivers. Avoids most clichés.

An amazing spy thriller after a long time! Finally, someone has presented an Indian spy story with such a gripping storyline and brilliant screenplay. Pratik Gandhi is truly a legend! Honestly, the entire cast has delivered stellar performances.#Reviewpic.twitter.com/AnucgLcEw1

Other than the voiceover narrative screenplay, it's a near perfect espionage drama. Don't tell, just show.#KritikaKamra, #RajatKapoor shined in their limited screentime. #SuhailNayyar stood out, #PratikGandhi did well, #SunnyHinduja was great. pic.twitter.com/K2yFqSNAqG
