The Ba***ds of Bollywood, starring Lakshya, Bobby Deol and Raghav Juyal released on Netflix on September 18 and here’s what the internet has to say about it!
The Ba***ds of Bollywood, written and directed by Aryan Khan is a satirical show on the good, bad and ugly of the Hindi film industry. From nepo babies having struggles of their own to newcomers giving surprise hits at the box office, the show covers each and every aspect of Bollywood that we have seen in the news or perceived via social media. The series revolves around Aasman (Lakshya), the newcomer who everyone’s been talking about. Along with his manager Sanya (Anya Singh), his best friend Parvaiz (Raghav Juyal), and his parents (Mona Singh and Vijayant Kohli), he is set to take over Bollywood, one film at a time! But when he gets stuck in the middle of a three film contract with Freddy Sodawaala(Manish Chaudhary) and superstar Ajay Talvar’s (Bobby Deol) politics behind his back because he does not want him to star alongside his daughter, Karishma(Saher Bammba), things starts going haywire!
The Janta seems to have loved Aryan Khan’s execution of the story. It is the kind of brainrot humour that viewers have seem to be missing and they got what they wanted with this show. The show has also garnered immense praise for the screenplay and editing of the show. Raghav Juyal and Manoj Pahwa’s performances in particular have stood out to the Janta and the reactions on social media are pouring in huge numbers! While the satirical, quirky humour was enjoyed by many, there were some who also felt like the show was nothing more than a decent one time watch that worked in bits and pieces.

just completed #TheBadsOfBollywood and it was a pretty fun watch. i was engaged and entertained throughout the series and laughed a lot too in some scenes. the cameos were very exciting and the direction by #AryanKhan was too good too but the last twist was horrible. 3.5/5⭐ pic.twitter.com/aPbbIXiVZd

#TheBadsOfBollywood is so entertaining. It’s a quirky ode to the film industry. Aryan Khan as director impressed me so much. He manages to bring so many emotions to life. The dramatic nature of the show reminded me of the Bollywood I fell in love with. 3.75/5 🌟 Do not miss it!

Genuinely liked the series.Very engaging, every episode keeps you hooked.Comedy & acting was top notch specially by #RaghavJuyal & #ManojPahwa , they are the heart of the show. What a comeback by lord #BobbyDeol since animal. Good job #AryanKhanpic.twitter.com/Et8IDJIy2F
#Badsofbollywood is raw, brutal & honest, Raghav steals the show. Loved the masala mix of Madhur Bhandarkar grit + Farah Khan flair. Bobby Deol deserved a darker arc, climex felt rushed, but overall loved it worth watching. Solid 4⭐️

So finished with #TheBadsOfBollywood and it was a fun entertainer. Okayish script but Aryan's execution was top-notch. The situational comedy and humour was on point and you won't be bored since they had Manoj pahwa and raghav juyal💥💥

Mostly a satire@TheRaghav_Juyal and @actormanojpahwa are show stealers. The elevated proceedings every time they're on screen.
Half entertaining and the rest is so so#Reviewpapapic.twitter.com/78NuoBVTn4

Extremely well written & well edited (pay attention to the continuity of the scenes from 1 shot to another in any scene).
The climax was so well ingrained in the plot from the get go 🔥, details after details, every pay-off made sense in retrospect.
#TheBadsOfBollywood 3/5. The starting episodes were good but after that it went downhill. Aryan as a debut director did a good job but the story could have been much better. All the cameos were good especially Emraan Hashmi. Overall it's a decent one time watch.
