Helmed by Maruthi, The Raja Saab has failed to win over the audience owing to its weak writing, patchy VFX, and forced comedy!
Prabhas' much-awaited horror-comedy The Raja Saab finally released last week, featuring the star in a role that blends royal heir drama, jump-scares, psychology, and romance alongside actors like Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar, Nidhhi Agerwal, and more. Directed by Maruthi, the film had an exciting energy around it given its star cast, themes, and a massive budget of Rs. 400 crores; however failed to impress the critics and the Janta alike!
While some are appreciating Prabhas' comedy timing and screen presence in parts of the first half, along with decent visuals in a few scenes, many are also pointing out issues like uneven VFX, a stretched second half, weak horror elements, and a story that doesn't quite hold together. For Prabhas fans, there's enough of his familiar energy to make it watchable once, but the overall execution leaves people divided on whether it delivers as a solid entertainer or falls short.

And #TheRajaSaab is a Disaster as predicted on Friday itself after watching the film. High time #Prabhas stops taking his fans for granted by doing such crappy films https://t.co/jxB6wqPZAbpic.twitter.com/ucJGiqVNjI

#TheRajaSaabReview (2.5/5) : The Raja Saab has an engaging plot and prabhas brings good energy but weak storytelling and poor execution make the film an okayish watch.

What works ✅⁰👍🏻 Prabhas looks stylish and carries the movie single handedly in many portions ⁰👍🏻 Core idea… pic.twitter.com/3SfG3ZFFkH

Huge Expectations From #Prabhas But He Fails Very Badly
Bro Should Stick To Big Directors Only
Poor VFX
• Weak screenplay
• No proper horror
• Too lengthy
• Outdated Story #TheRajaSaabpic.twitter.com/2XyfW2P6V3

Watch it with less expectations.
I wonder why many scenes from trailer have been removed.
Positives:
1. Prabhas
2. Casting
3. BGM
Negatives:
1. Few Maruti mark cringe scenes
2. Unnecessarily high budget
3. Few… https://t.co/geJA2hrJGapic.twitter.com/cLeVrmrd68

I watched it today,i thoroughly enjoyed the movie to the fullest,#prabhas carried the whole film.
At its core,The Raja Saab flirts with themes of legacy, fear rooted in memory, inherited power. These ideas surface visually more than verbally
The Raja Saab: Quick Review ⚡

Verdict: Average. A film with a solid story and working comedy that unfortunately suffers from inconsistent pacing and choppy execution. Not as bad as the rumors suggest, but it misses the mark for a top-tier entertainer.

The Raja Saab is a visually grand but narratively weak horror-comedy that Prabhas single-handedly carries with his charisma.
Strictly for hardcore fans !!
