Vadh 2 wins over Janta with its layered writing, gripping performances and grounded storytelling!

Starring Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta, Vadh 2 is being unanimously termed a ‘sequel better than the original’!

Jaspal Singh Sandhu’s crime-thriller, Vadh 2 arrived in theatres last week. While the 2022 original saw Mr. and Mrs. Mishra essayed by Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta slay a serial offender, the standalone sequel features the two characters as a weary prison guard and a resilient inmate, forging an unlikely, tender bond, only to confront an even darker situation that forces them into morally gray choices once again. The film has received positive reviews from the critics. 

The Janta has been echoing this sentiment, with many unanimously opining that the film surpasses its predecessor for its grounded storytelling. While some are pointing out the slow world-building in the film, most are largely in awe of the performances, layered writing, and subtle commentary on systematic corruption!
