Jesse Eisenberg is making his directorial debut with A24 movie ‘When you finish saving the world’ , based on Eisenberg’s Audible Original of the same name.

Jesse Eisenberg has impressed the critics and the viewers all around the world with his acting skills in films like The end of the tour, The social network and Zombieland. Now the actor is all set to make his directorial debut with a comedy drama titled as ‘When you finish saving the world’. The film will star Julianne Moore who has earlier won an Academy award for her portrayal of Alice in Still Alice. It will also star Finn Wolfhard who has previously gained success with Netflix’s Stranger things and Alisha Boe who made an impact with Netflix popular teen show 13 reasons why.

The film is based on Jesse Eisenberg’s Audible original of the same name. The comedy drama film is about the mother son relationship.  The movie will focus on the relationship between Finn Wolfhard and Julianne Moore’s characters. The plot of the film is not revealed but it is said that the film’s plot will have a slightly different focus than the audio book.

The audio book is a six-part audio show, which is set over three decades and follows three members of a family. Nathan, a father learning to connect with his newborn son; Rachel, a young college student seeking to find her place in a relationship and in life; and Ziggy, a teenager hoping to figure out where he came from, and where he’s headed. The audio show will release this year.

When you finish saving the world will be produced by Julianne Moore and Dave McCary. Emma stone has earlier worked with Jesse Eisenberg as a co-actor in Zombieland . Well, we are really excited to see this remarkable collaboration aren’t we?
