It’s that time of the week, folks! No, sadly, it’s not Friday but we do have a film that released earlier this morning - Kalank. The movie is directed by Abhishek Varman and stars Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha & Madhuri Dixit as the lead characters.
The film created quite a lot of buzz ever since it was announced and has managed to keep it going with the trailer, the songs and the numerous promotional appearances made by the star cast. However, the trailer and snippets from Kalank only managed to evoke mixed reactions and feelings from the audience.
The movie, which has been a life-long dream of Karan Johar and the Late. Yash Johar had high expectations riding on it. It impressed the loyal fanbase of stars for how different they seemed than most of their previous roles, the songs also became a hit flooding our social media feeds with fan-made covers and dance videos. But even with the talented star-cast and all its glamour and hype, a majority of the viewers found it to be 'inspired' by Sanjay Leela Bhansali's larger than life epic romantic dramas. The trailer clearly had a mixed review but now that the film is finally out, let's see what the audiences have to say about it:
