Kalank, directed by Abhishek Varman and starring Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha & Madhuri Dixit launched it’s trailer and Twitter’s response is splits between few throwing shade and few hailing it.
The narrative revolves around the main storyline of Zafar & Roop. And Zafar claims, Roop ki mohabbat uska haq hai, or ye haq wo leke rahega.
Some are claiming that the actors have out-performed themselves. Some are calling it “overacting”. Few are praising the extravagant visuals set in the Pre-Independence India. Few are calling it a Sanjay Leela Bhansali rip-off.
And, quite a few have doubts on the concept of a love triangle and a Muslim guy falling for a Hindu girl, being new. Though, it would be too soon to judge.
