It's a political turmoil in Karnataka. It has so much drama, that even a Karan Johar movie would look less dramatic than this in comparison.

While few Congress MLAs resigned and absconded from the house, the BJP looks to have the majority numbers. Even though the Speaker though has reigned control, is not accepting any resignations. Meanwhile, the Governor has ordered a Floor Test to confirm the strength of the house.

The speaker is citing as many creative reasons as possible to deny the inevitable. The reasons varied from being hungry to being sleepy to rushing to solve constituency problems. While this was a strategy to keep postponing the Floor Test, it was too funny for the Twitterati to not start a meme war.
