Marking his debut at the Paris Haute Couture Spring/ Summer 2025, content creator Ankush Bahuguna indulged in the world of fashion. The creator talked to us about this experience.
One factor that suggests the success of content creation is when we get to see content creators at well-renowned fashion weeks. Ankush Bahuguna, one of India’s most celebrated content creators in beauty and fashion, recently made his debut at the prestigious Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2025 event. He is among the many who successfully attended this fashion celebration.
Bahuguna was dressed by Indian couturier Rahul Mishra in a pristine white linen jacket from a botanical garden, adorned with intricate hand-embroidered embellishments. Paired with a white boxy-fit shirt, showcasing Rousseau-inspired foliage embroidery and appliqué detailing—a true masterpiece that reflected Rahul Mishra’s signature style. He was seated amongst patrons to witness the Indian designers’ new collection.
Ankush’s signature makeup style perfectly complemented his ensemble. Known for accentuating facial features with subtle yet impactful accents, he opted for duo chrome shades and UV skin techniques to elevate his appearance. Gold accents and duo-chrome gold-to-pink hues brought a unique touch of elegance, making his look both modern and iconic. He also attended the Lebanese couturier Zuhair Murad's show, further solidifying his status as a rising star in the global fashion scene. After his show-stopping appearances at Cannes and Milan Fashion Week, Ankush has been seen embracing the language of “Fashion,” and fans are absolutely loving it.

Here's what Ankush had to share about his experience:
What does this year's Paris Haute Couture Spring/Summer look like?
This is my first time at the Paris Haute Couture Week. Before this, I had only seen it on the internet so it was a completely new experience for me. This year I think there has been some really good couture and I think designers are really pushing the envelope, especially the Indian designers, they have done some incredible work this year.
You had the chance to witness Rahul Mishra’s collection The Pale Blue Dot. How would you describe it as a fashion influencer who experiments with his own style?
The Pale Blue Dot is such an immersive idea. It stems from the idea that we are nothing but a speck of dust in this galaxy. I have also had conversations with Rahul about this collection and have also seen interviews where is talked about how this was inspired by the grief that he was going through from his father's recent demise. It's incredible what he has turned it into in terms of design and art. The designs invoke very strong emotions in you. When I saw the garments up close, it really made me feel something. I think his job here is done, he wanted to make a point and he has.
What is that one thing you always look forward to at events like Paris Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2025?
What I look forward to is just the excitement of sharing this space with some of the biggest designers in the world and knowing what's going on in the fashion world it's good to see how Indian designers are received with so much love and support at one of the biggest fashion weeks in the world. It's also a great opportunity, to be honest, to meet people from all around the world, to also see how they understand fashion versus my interpretation of fashion, just being in that space and enjoying the couture week.
What's one fashion element from the event you would like to experiment with in your own style?
So this collection of Rahul Mishra was mostly women's wear, and I really hope Rahul makes a lot more men's wear so that I can experiment with my style too. But one thing that really drew me to the collection was the drama, the outfits, the movement and the construction of the outfits. Every outfit was saying a story and that's something I was very intrigued by. That's one thing I would like to bring into my personal storytelling.
As someone who is now prominently representing India at global events like Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2025, often standing out even among celebrities, can you describe the unique impact this representation brings?
Beauty & fashion are very important parts of self-expression for me. I think more than representation it’s s personal win for me because I could’ve never imagined being in spaces I always thought I didn’t belong in. The way I’m loved & supported for my makeup & fashion would hopefully open more doors for people & that would be the bigger win. I think it’s also a testament to how much value & impact content creators could bring to the table.
