Khakee: The Bihar Chapter

Khakee: The Bihar Chapter starring Karan Tacker and Avinash Tiwary released on Netflix on November 2. Here’s what the Janta thought of the series!

Created by Neeraj Panday, Khakee: The Bihar Chapter is a story based on real events that are adapted from the book written by IPS officer Amit Lodha, ‘Bihar Diaries- The true story of how Bihar’s most dangerous criminal was caught.’ The series is directed by Bhav Dhulia and written by Umashankr Singh. It spans over six years, from 2000 to 2006, and simultaneously follows the journey of officer Amita Lodha (Karan Tacker) and his series of postings across Bihar and second, Chandan Mahto (Avinash Tiwary) who becomes one of the most dangerous gangsters in the entire state.

The cast also includes Nikita Dutta who plays Tanu, Amit’s wife. Ravi Kishan plays a local goon, Abhyuday Singh, who Chandan eventually starts working with. Ashutosh Rana plays SSP Mukteshwar Choubey and Anup Soni is seen portraying the character DIG Paswan. The Janta feels that Netflix has delivered yet another gripping series to watch. They were thoroughly impressed by the detailing, the performance from the cast, and the fact that they know that any content by Neeraj Panday does not disappoint.

Also Read: While a part of the Janta thought that Bhediya was quite an average story, there were many who also praised the makers for trying something new!

Check out what else they had to say!
