Laal Singh Chaddha starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, was released in Cinemas on August 11, and here's how the Janta reacted to the film!
Laal Singh Chaddha is the Indian remake of the Academy Award-winning Hollywood movie Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks and Sally Field. Our version of the adaptation is helmed by Aamir Khan, who plays Laal Singh Chaddha, a character on the autism spectrum, and often wonders if we write our own destiny or just go where life takes us. Mona Singh plays his feisty mother, who is his backbone and always reminds him to never give up and never let life pull him down. Kareena Kapoor Khan plays Rupa, his childhood sweetheart, reprising Jenny's character from the original film, Rupa is far more vulnerable, naive, and sensitive. Naga Chaitanya plays Bala, a fellow army officer and Laal's bestfriend. The two meet during the Kargil War and go through a lot of ups and downs together whilst forming an endearing friendship.
Directed by Advait Chandan and written for screen by Atul Kulkarni, Laal Singh Chaddha's timeline covers some significant events from our history making them an engaging element in the story and the film also includes a really unexpected cameo which was really interesting to watch. The audience has been drawing comparisons of this film to Forrest Gump ever since the trailer itself was released.

So it goes without saying they'd have a lot of opinions once the film is released too!
#LaalSinghChaddha Review: DISAPPOINTS.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️#AamirKhan’s comeback movie #LSC is disappointing… Movie pace is too slow, lacks of entertainment… Has some terrific moments, but lacks fire in totality. #LaalSinghChaddhaReview pic.twitter.com/dnd3M1tmrW

Music/Emotions are the biggest strength of LSC. Makes you cry & laugh in no time. 2nd is writing & cinematography. Each frame is beautiful and has many clap worthy dialogues. #AamirKhan wins you over yet again.

A golden opportunity miss. Even #AmirKhan star-power cannot save this ship from sinking… EPIC DISAPPOINTMENT. #LaalSinghChaddhaReview pic.twitter.com/uxX8ndZ9IW
#LaalSinghChaddha trailer itself was unimpressive and Aamir Khan’s body-language and dialogue delivery looked artificial. I was not going to watch the film anyway due to immense respect I have for #ForrestGump. I may not even watch it on OTT going by the feedback and reviews! pic.twitter.com/3o5LsIBsjE

#LaalSinghChaddha should definitely be watched once, didn't understand the extreme negative reviews it received, I noticed many undertones, themes.

Yes Aamir Khan's performance was jarring during Laal's adult life, apart from that it deserve a chance.
I was sceptical to watch #LaalSinghChaddha, after seeing many negative reviews. However, I am glad that I watched it. A brilliant adaptation of #ForrestGump into a different culture. A lot of meaningful messages are conveyed. People should separate the art from artist. (1/2) pic.twitter.com/uSuwouIFIO

Kareena deserves all the accolades and awards for the whole Tere Hawale sequence..So ethereal ..So at peace in terms of Rupa’s journey ..The way she breaks down during ceremony #KareenaKapoorKhan #LaalSinghChaddha

What a beautiful film! It has everything, love, emotion, comedy, tragedy... Amir's innocence and Kareena's beauty, their acting everything is so perfect.... and the way Kareena is getting all the praise for portraying Rupa, she truly deserves it. A Masterpiece #LaalSinghChaddha pic.twitter.com/POLQOOqjW6

#LaalSinghChaddha :- A neat remake of Forrest gump, perfectly captures it's larger than liveliness. Felt like the third act could've toned down a little bit and the film could've been shorter but still a beautiful film. We all failed as an audience for rejecting this.

Laal Singh Chaddha was a genuine and admirable attempt to recreate the magic forrest gump created. It was magical but I understand why the movie couldnt take the risks that forrest gump did!! I hope India gets there some day !! loved it to the core #LaalSinghChaddha 💝

Saw #LaalSinghChaddha today, it's a good movie. Ofcourse nothing compared to Dangal, Lagaan, 3 Idiots but a nice simple story with good amalgamation of historic events in the background of Laal's journey. @AKPPL_Official pic.twitter.com/BhVIoopqOS

It’s a generally a film that we always expect from Aamir Khan, a classic.
Even though I haven seen Forrest Gump of numerous times, but Laal Singh Chaddha equally touched me with deep emotions like the original film.
Watched #LaalSinghChaddha today. For me the best part of film is how SRK got his signature step & how Rupa brand was created in India😁 Kudos to #AtulKulkarni for infusing and merging the history of India in backdrop with the story. A must watch movie in theatre 4⭐/5.. music 5⭐
