Ashton Hall, a fitness influencer, joined the internet's "hall" of memes after his morning routine ended up as a popular joke online. Even celebs and politicians couldn't resist!
Influencers will always argue that their content is different from others but one content piece that is common and almost the crux of the influencer world is ‘daily routine’ videos. Daily morning or night routine videos always fascinate the audience no matter how fake or unrealistic they know most of these videos are. Watching these influencers fulfil and achieve their tasks throughout their day somehow gives us a feeling of accomplishment. Maybe that was also Ashton Hall's intent when he shared his morning routine for the world to see but little did he know that it would join the internet's 'Hall of memes.'
A Florida-based fitness trainer, Ashton Hall, is known for sharing his daily routine. Hall is a former college football running back who has 4.8 million followers on TikTok, with almost double of that on Instagram, and another 2.96 million subscribers on YouTube. His routine was something you would expect from a fitness influencer and more. He wakes up early in the morning, dunks his face into a bowl of ice water, rubs a banana peel on it, journals and even jumps into a pool for that extra cardio.

With an early start, Hall wanted to share his disciplined life with the world, all of which he does before 10 am. While many appreciated it, the internet could not quite grasp how he shared a routine that looked less productive and more fancy. Not to forget the fact that despite him waking up early, it took a woman to make him breakfast while he dunked his face (again) in iced water before attending a meeting in a suit.
The jokes started off with people just sharing pictures of a bowl of iced water and a banana peel and we're sure that people who may have missed his video were clueless about what it means! But the jokes got even more specific when they started buying Saratoga Spring Water and doing pushups all in intervals of 2-3 minutes. People also made sure to randomly quote “We’ve gotta go ahead and get in at least 10,000” on posts. The joke caught on so fast that even celebrities, politicians, and his fellow influencers decided to recreate it. Hall's video itself ended up having more than 700 million views on X, with people sharing their own versions of the meme.
These reactions and memes are gold!

The influencer, however, decided to join in the fun and shared a new video re-creating the same, but this time making the woman hand him everything, and ending the video with - “You’ve made your first 10,000. Congratulations. We’ve got to do at least 20, bro.”
