Archaeologists in Egypt have discovered a 2000-year-old mummy bearing a tongue made of gold along with 15 other burials in rock-cut tombs at an ancient Egyptian site called Taposiris Magna.
The team led by Dr. Kathleen Martinez surmise that the person's tongue may have been removed during embalming while replacing it with a golden tongue so that the deceased could talk to Osiris - The god of the dead - in their afterlife.
Osiris is said to rule over the underworld and would judge the spirits of those who had died. According to beliefs, the individual with the gold tongue would have the ability to speak to Osiris upon arriving in the afterlife.
Check out the reactions on Twitter about the Mummy:
Every tongue in heaven and earth shall declare your glory, every knee shall bow at your throne in worship and you will be exalted O Lord and your kingdom shall not pass away..🙏
“The team succeeded in revealing 16 catacombes, inside the big necropolis that was previously discovered, where mummies were covered with a layer of cartonnage bearing gold and others had golden tongues.” https://t.co/WASPb9qqkcpic.twitter.com/kgYhFDxvNJ
Y’all do NOT need symbols, & objects to be protected. There is POWER in your tongue. Speak life. Tell demonic spirits to leave your home, open the door & tell them get out.
