Terming ‘Krishna and His Leela‘ movie as ‘Hinduphobic’, netizens want to #BoycottNetflix for hurting religious sentiments.
After Netflix India recently released Telugu-language romantic film- Krishna and His Leela. A male character named Krishna played by Sidhu Jonnalagadda is seen having sexual relationships with multiple women and one of them named Radha played by Shalini Vadnikatti. The names of the Hindu idols in a show with prurient content has urged people to #BoycottNetflix after people found the movie to be insulting for the religion.
However, Twitter is divided between the two. While many are calling out to Netflix for showing Hinduphobic, abusive and explicit content through its movies and web series, many others have a different stance.
