Never Kiss Your Best Friend season 2 starring Nakuul Mehta and Anya Singh was released on ZEE5 on April 29 and the janta is melting over the lead couple.

Never Kiss Your Best Friend season 2 is based on Sumrit Shah's book of the same name who also co-wrote the series with Durjoy Dutta and Mishkka Shekhawat. The series is directed by Harsh Dedhia and produced by 11:11 Productions. Never Kiss Your Best Friend is a story about love and friendship where two best friends who never should've kissed, do the exact opposite of what they decide. This is the second season of the rom-com series and the story picks up right where it left us in Season 1. We see our extremely good-looking pair confront each other once again. Anya Singh as Tanie Brar is like a breath of fresh air on-screen and Nakuul Mehta as Sumer Dhillon is charming as ever. The two look like a couple straight out of a KJo movie, giving us all the magical feels. Sarah Jane Dias joins the cast this season as Lavanya, the owner of a production house in London, and Karan Wahi as Karan, an actor who she really wants to cast for her show. We also see Javed Jaffrey as Bittu Mama, who plays Tanie's uncle on the show.

In this season, we see Tanie doubting her writing abilities after her second novel does not fair so well but she goes for a fresh attempt at her career when Lavanya is looking forward to producing her first-ever web series for which she co-incidentally hires Tanie as the screenwriter and Sumer as the director. So it goes without saying that the two are going to have countless encounters and face each other as their paths have crossed again. Karan and Lavanya eventually become Tanie and Sumer's love interests this season but both of them cannot neglect the very obvious chemistry between each other. Tanie and Sumer who firmly claim that they are best friends, always seem to be half a heart when they are apart. Their long-lost feelings after the first season, resurface again when they are in close proximity and that's what the second season revolves around.
