During our GSB JAY-VUN feast, we learnt to make a Prawn Curry or 'Hooman' in the style of the the Gaud Saraswat Brahmins of Goa and decided to keep it on the menu because it speaks volumes of the cooking style and flavours of the their niche rich cuisine! . The 'Hooman' curry has a fresh earthy touch with grated coconut and coconut milk as its base , tamarind/ambade (when in season) and chilli to add a punch of flavour and balance, with fresh local prawns adding a wonderful sweetness to the curry! In our version we also add some okra to give the curry a velvety smooth texture that is certain to last on your palate! ❤️ . #goanbarandrestaurant #goaninspired #portugueseinspired #goancuisine #gsbcuisine #traditionalfood #prawnhooman #hooman #ambade #currysofgoa #opedro #BKC #mumbai .
