OK Computer to be screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam


Vijay Varma, Radhika Apte's, and Jackie Shroff's 'OK Computer' will be screened at the IFFR 2021 under the Bright Future Programme category.

The sci-fi series OK Computer is selected to be screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR), 2021. According to the official webpage of IFFR, the series starring Jackie Shroff, Vijay Varma, and Radhika Apte has been selected in the Bright Future Programme category to be screened. The film festival will be held from 2nd June to 6th June 202.

Vijay Varma couldn't hold his excitement in and announced this news on Twitter. Anand Gandhi, director of 'The Ship of Theseus' and also one of the makers of the show went on to his Instagram to share the news. His caption read, “OK Computer has been invited to Rotterdam! This is a celebration of the vision of our debut directors Pooja Shetty and Neil Pagedar. This is also a big reaffirmation for the Memesys vision to incessantly facilitate new voices and visioneers in motion pictures and games.” He went on to thank each and everyone who has been a part of the show to make it a success including the cast.

The series "OK Computer" is one of a kind first sci-fi comedy series in India. It is a dark comedy dealing with artificial intelligence. The story revolves around a cyber cop (Vijay Varma) and robot rights activist (Radhika Apte) who team up to investigate a murder committed by a self-driving car. The six-episode series is currently streaming on Disney plus Hotstar.
