Yet another show got its closure this year and Netflix went big for its final season. From pop-ups around the world to everyone eagerly awaiting how this magnum opus that we were once consumed by finally ends, Squid Game had all eyes on it earlier this year!

When Life Gives You Tangerines - Netflix

Starring IU and Kim Seon-Ho, When Life Gives You Tangerines made us cry, weep, broke our hearts and deal with feelings we weren’t ready to face. It also made us feel extremely grateful for everything that our parents have done for us and appreciate the time we get to spend with them. Even though the show is a K-drama, the feeling of love and family is always universal and hence it gained views from not just K-drama fans but a plethora of people outside the fandom too!

Materialists - Netflix 

After Past Lives, a story that completely left us devastated, when you hear that Celine Song’s next is going to be a rom-com starring Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal, you best believe the world is gonna wanna watch that. And that’s exactly what happened when the film was released! It not only brought out polarizing opinions from the world, but also started so many important conversations about the world of modern dating!
