His extraordinary efforts against KXIP's fast bowler Sheldon Cottrell helped the team win. Rahul hits five sixes in a single over and left viewers and his opponents awestruck. Although he started off slow, he unleashed the beast in him after the 18th over when the team needed 15 runs to win against KXIP. He was sent in fourth against players like Robin Uthappa by the captain, Steve Smith. This became Rajasthan Royals' second win in their two wins and now stands at the second position on the IPL Points Table. RR was also able to defeat KXIP in the highest chase runs in IPL history and by four wickets.
