Despite of a lack in wow factor, Netflix's Rana Naidu stood out for the Janta!

Rana Naidu premiered on Netflix on March 10 and the Janta found the show a little close to soft-porn.

An action crime drama series created and directed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma, Rana Naidu is produced by Sunder Aaron under the banner Locomotive Global Inc. The cast consist of Venkatesh Daggubati, Rana Daggubati, Suchitra Pillai, Gaurav Chopra and Surveen Chawla in lead roles. This official remake of American series, Ray Donovan is currently streaming on Netflix.

What happens when your dad is released from prison after serving 15 years for a crime he never committed? Rana Naidu is a series about the dysfunctional Naidu family, their internal fall-out, the mess surrounding around them and how the bigger politics keeps pulling them apart. Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh Daggubati take on the roles played by Liv Schreiber and Jon Voight in the original action drama Ray Donovan.

People complained about how the show gives soft porn vibes and also pointed out that even a Hollywood movie aka Ray Donovan has less abuse and sex scenes than Rana Naidu. Rana and Venky's chemistry wasn't appreciated either by the Janta. Despite it all, the Janta seems to be liking the show.
