On the auspicious day of Baisakhi and Mahavir Jayanti, Ranbir and Alia got hitched at the same place where their relationship grew.
There is no surprise that the weddings of Bollywood celebrities have become a festivity where everyone is involved and not involved in it. While Anushka-Virat and Deepika-Ranveer chose to marry outside of the country it's the new couples of B-town Vicky-Katrina and now Ranbir-Alia chose to marry in the country. Ranbir and Alia honoring their 5-year-old relationship that was spent so much on the Balcony of their flat Vastu, got hitched in an intimate set-up. Only the family members from both sides and some close friends were present. While the groom's side included Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Sahni, Karishma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, and the entire Kapoor clan the bride's side included Mahesh Bhatt, Soni Razdan, Pooja, and Shaheen Bhatt. And the friend's list included Akash and Shloka Ambani, Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji and Akansha Ranjan.

Though it's interesting to note that they are dressed in Sabyasachi, as he is the official wedding designer for all celebs now, still Ranbir and Alia chose to be minimal yet classy. Celeb weddings over the years have kind of become an affair that is eagerly looked forward to but more or less end up looking all the same. But Alia and Ranbir's wedding looks different altogether whether it was the attire which is in the pallete of white, to the choice of wearing a saree, to the unique white crystals sort of Kaleere to champagne drinking, to minimal jaimala's to unique style of photography.
Both of them are considered to be the flagbearers of bringing in a change through their choice of the film but they have done it to their wedding too! Well, who said minimal couldn't be classy yet beautiful and that's ever the more inspiring cause it's also so full of love! We congratulate the couple for their happy beginnings!
