Ravindra Jadeja Hits Back At Sanjay Manjrekar For His Negative Comments

It's a known fact, cricket is the nation's favorite sport. Our love for the sport was passed down to us by our parents and elders who may not have used #BleedBlue or even know what it means but they understood the feeling just the same. All of us take everything personally when it comes to Team India and the cricket matches they play. While we praise them for their outstanding performances we also critique them for when they don't live up to the expectations. However, it's not just the fans who do so.

Professional sports personalities are hired as commentators for every game who critique every little part of the game and everything that happens on the field. Sadly, what happens on the field never stays there because of the magnitude of spectators and influence the sport holds. One of the recent incidents that sparked off a social media outburst is Sanjay Manjrekar and his commentary about Team India. While he pointed out faults about a lot the players and their techniques, he seemed to have passed harsh comments about MS Dhoni and also Ravindra Jadeja.

Sanjay Majrekar was quoted saying, "I am not a big fan of bits and pieces players which Jadeja is at this point of his career in 50-over cricket. In Test matches, he is a pure bowler. But in 50-over cricket, I would rather have a batsman and a spinner."

This comment didn't go down well with Jadeja and most his fans either. Jadeja decided to speak his mind and criticized Sanjay Manjrekar's comments on Twitter.

Take a look:

Fans rose to his support sharing their annoyance with Manjrekar:
