Dancing Zemo from The Falcon And The Winter Soldier has become the new evil Peter Parker dancing meme. Fans demand an extended cut of the dance by trending #ReleaseTheZemoCut.

Spoilers ahead. Justice League is living proof of what fans can do. And fans have decided to take advantage of this power and ask Marvel to give them what they deserve. The 3rd episode of The Falcon And The Winter Soldier finally introduced Zemo. Although he is a villain, he can be seen helping Sam and Bucky find the super serum. The trio was not something that we wanted, but soon became something that we needed. Despite how Zemo tried to bring out the Winter Soldier in Bucky and the fact that he went straight into sugar daddy mode with his expensive fur coats, it was his dance moves on the dance floor that caught the fans’ eyes. This eventually led to them trending #ReleaseTheZemoCut.

The last episode showed how desperate Sam and Bucky are to find the Flag Smashers and where they got the super serum from. This desperation made them bust Baron Zemo their arc enemy out of prison, well ‘hypothetically’ it was all Bucky and Sam had no hand in it. Zemo’s assistance leads them to Madripoor, the crime-ridden lowtown in Southeast Asia. It was there when the three tried to remain in their characters and Zemo blended into the neon nightclub with his killer moves.

Although the small fist-pumping dance was only up for a few seconds, the actor who plays Zemo, Daniel Brühl said that there is an extended cut to it. Brühl said in one of his recent interviews, “It’s so hysterical. [That moment] was improvised when I saw the crowd dancing, going loco. I felt the beat and was like, Zemo has been sitting in a dodgy German prison cell for years. So, he needs to let off some steam and show his moves. Let’s go for it. I was 100 per cent sure that they would cut it out [of the show]. I was really surprised and happy that they kept it. It was a long dance. There’s more to it, but they cut this little moment.”

The actor’s reveal drove the internet nuts and they ended up wanting to see the extended cut of Zemo enjoying his life outside of a German prison. It soon became the most popular meme, just like Tobey Maguire‘s Spiderman dance and they began trending #ReleaseTheZemoCut.
