A romantic film, Aap Jaisa Koi explores the themes of cultural differences, patriarchy, and agency of women in a relationship and features Madhavan as Shrirenu Tripathi, a Sanskrit professor, and Shaikh as Madhu Bose, an independent woman with a strong voicewho meet through an arranged set-up.
