The trailer of Housefull 5 promises a joyride of chaos, comedy, and a gripping murder mystery with an exciting ensemble cast led by Akshay Kumar.
The much-awaited trailer of Tarun Mansukhani’s Housefull 5 released on Friday, featuring an ensemble cast including, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, and many more prolific actors. The venture is touted as India’s most expensive comedy film with a staggering budget of 375 crores. Produced and written by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film promises to offer comedy, chaos, and a thrilling whodunit.
In the trailer, audiences are introduced to an exciting murder mystery set on a grand cruise ship. The story revolves around three characters who are all named Jolly, portrayed by Kumar, Bachchan, and Deshmukh, each claiming to be the rightful heir to a staggering amount of inheritance. However, this tussle takes an ugly turn when a murder takes place on the ship and the trio gets accused of it, landing them in the cruise’s jail. Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff, who play cops, come to solve this whodunit.
The trailer is packed with action and comedy, showcasing Kumar, Deshkmukh, and Johnny Lever at their hilarious best. The jokes land, the film looks aesthetically pleasing and the music is upbeat, however, by the look of the trailer, the screenplay looks cramped with too many actors and a lot is happening at the same time. Having said that, the plot, large-scale chase and action sequences have added a layer of intrigue and excitement for the film.
Besides the aforementioned stars, the film also includes Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir.
