From the writing to the elements of suspense, the Janta seems truly impressed with Bejoy Nambiar’s crime thriller Kaala!

Kaala starring Avinash Tiwary and Rohan Vinod Mehra, was released on Disney+Hotstar on September 15 and here’s what the Janta had to say about the show!

Kaala, directed by Bejoy Nambiar is centered around the businessman, corrupt politicians and drug lords who carry out these underhand reverse hawala dealings which basically means money that is transferred without actually physically moving it. The show takes us around the dark world of money laundering and the nexus around it. There’s IB officer Ritwik who is trying to bring down these rackets and Naman Arya is the antagonist of the show. He claims to have a massive recycling business, but that’s just the face of the many wrongdoings that he does inside the company. Avinash Tiwary, Rohan Vinod Mehra, Nivetha Pethuraj, Taher Shabbir and Hiten Tejwani play pivotal roles in the show. 

The Janta is praising Bejoy Nambiar for executing the show so well and calling it a ‘rollercoaster of emotions’. The police-criminal chase scenes and high octane action sequences also stood out throughout the show according to the audience, along with Avinash Tiwary acing his role.
