Saand Ki Aankh Trailer Is Out And Here's How Twitter Reacted!

The Saand Ki Aankh trailer released today and it has us all excited. It stars Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar. The talented, director Prakash Jha also plays a prominent role in the trailer. Indian cinema has witnessed several movies in the past that were based on sports and the lives of sports personalities. What makes this movie different from the rest is the fact that it is based on the story of how two 60-year-old shooter dadis, Chandro and Prakashi Tomar, took to their love for rifle shooting during their old age against the society that suggested otherwise and went on to become sharpshooters. Taapsee and Bhumi who are known to pick hatke characters in the past seem to be all set to impress their fans with this movie.

Saand ki Aankh which means, Bull’s eye, has a strong female cast and the actors, Bhumi and Taapsee have proven their mettle multiple times before. The movie has highlighted the strong characteristics of women belonging to remote places in India and also serves as an inspiration to young females across the country. While people have liked the trailer, there is also chatter around how instead of casting young actors and adding make-up, the makers should have considered casting actors who actually fall in that age bracket.
